I'm drawn to the Victorian era. Although I'm sure much of it wasn't, I find a quality of romantic aura about that time. My current work in progress, tentatively titled, "It's Elementary, My Dear Winifred" is set is Victorian England. Dear Winifred is a school marm. Her social life consists of meeting with Lord Nelson Chatham's reading club -- mystery reading club, that is. The whole group enjoys immersing themselves into the plot of a splendid whodunnit -- until they, themselves, are dropped into the middle of a baffling mystery. Can the handsome Remington Hawthorne, a reporter for The People newspaper, help Winifred, and the group, solve the puzzles that confront them before they reach the page that reads, "The End"?
